How about an integrated voice chat? With 3 channels. Waiting Room, Private Room, and in Game Room. This would let people focus on gaming while talking, without having to go through the distraction of typing.
And since the matchmaker is open at the same time anyway. It would run through matchmaker and not the game itself. and it could switch automatically to "Game Room" mode when a game is entered. On the bottom of the player list could be a tab that says the voice status. "Public" - "Whisper" (which could be associated with a name that is outlined in another color) and .... well.. in game won't be important becuase you would not see it anyway. (assuming the game loads right) |

Had that idea too. Need faster server connection at least. And will require much testing to implement. Why not use teamspeak before it's implemented? :P | ||

team speak? What is that? Maybe until we can implement an integrated version, we could have the program tap into another service that uses Voice chat automatically? As a first step? | ||
